Traveler Social Couve – “Travelin Old Scool” Bon Voyage

Join us at our first in-person Traveler Social of the year. Socials are a great time to meet other travelers, swap stories, ask questions, gain inspiration, and simply have a good time. This traveler social will be extra special, as we will be wishing bon voyage to Andi & Kevin. These two have been regulars at our travel events for seven years. This spring they are heading off on a multi-year trip. Their plan is to drive from Alaska to Argentina in a converted school bus.
At this Traveler Social:

• Ask questions
• Wish Andi & Kevin well

All this, plus you get to hang out with other travelers and talk about whatever you want. This social will also have travel games and prizes. Yes, I said PRIZES. Just for attending, you could win a copy of Andi Crockford’s inspirational travel book No Return Ticket, or the informative Before You Go Abroad Handbook by International Travel Coaches Shyla & Dan Bare.

This Traveler Social is FREE for passholders. To attend, simply claim your free ticket below. Not a passholder? Individual tickets are only $3 per person.

Since our guests of honor will be traveling soon, please do not come if you have any Covid-19 symptoms. Even though we are at an outside venue, please bring a mask and wear it when appropriate. No one may enter the converted bus without a mask. Due to current Covid restrictions, we also must continue to limit numbers. Only RSVP if you plan to be there. No showing will prevent an interested traveler from going.

Couve Venue: This in-person gathering will be at an outdoor beer garden in downtown Vancouver, WA. The exact location will be sent out in the confirmation email. Space is covered, but not heated so dress accordingly. There is plenty of free street parking on Sunday. The venue does require patrons wear a mask to go inside and order drinks. Please support the venue by purchasing a drink (alcoholic or non.) Sometimes there is a food truck at this beer garden, but not always. No children in the beer garden, but well-behaved dogs welcome. If a Vancouver, WA, venue does not work for you, we do have a Portland gathering the same day in the morning. Look for a separate event listing for that.

Honored Guests: Andi & Kevin Crockford are world travelers and tour Guides with Kendi World Adventures. Andi is the author of No Return Ticket. This book chronicles their amazing two-year journey around the world. Andi & Kevin are also skoolie owners. A skoolie is a renovated school bus used to travel or live in. Travel Social Facilitators: Shyla & Dan Bare are International Travel Coaches with Wild Spirit Travel. They started organizing travelers socials after moving to Portland at the end of a seven-year trip around the world. The goal was to connect with other like-minded travelers. At the gatherings they also realized they had lots of information to share so started doing private Travel Coaching sessions and wrote the bestselling Before You Go Abroad Handbook .

Fine Print: Refunds will only be made if the entire event is cancelled.

Please, do NOT come if you have any current Covid symptoms. We cannot guarantee that all attendees will be vaccinated–organizers are. On the day, we will be following Oregon or Washington State Covid protocols. Please be prepared and willing to follow guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing.

Photos may also be used by Andi & Kevin Crockford on the Travelin Old Scool website or social media. By attending the event, you give consent to be in photos.
